Thank you for your interest in the Mississippi Walleye Club Shootout.  This unique all-cash, 3 tournaments in one format should provide something for everyone.  The 3 tournaments are a Weigh Tournament, a Photo Tournament, and a Big Fish Tournament.  Each will have 3 prize pools of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.  Nine cash prizes will be awarded in total.  This one-day tournament will launch from Dubuque’s Schmidt Harbor, Pool 12, and will allow locking up to Pool 11 or down to Pool 13.  More details on the tournament structure are outlined in the rules. .

All tournaments have rules.  The rules do vary from event to event so be sure you and your boat mates read and agree to the rules so there is no dispute at an event.  Read our Shootout Rules by clicking on the link and declare your affirmation on the registration form.

What to expect from the Registration process:  You will receive an automated email indicating the website has accepted your information.  Once you pay via PayPal or Venmo, you should receive your receipt from that vendor, and the MWC receives notice of incoming money.  Once the Tournament Director has verified that your registration is complete and payment is complete, they will add the Captain and Co-Angler(s) to the official entry list. The Boat Captain will get a final confirmation within 24 hours via text that everything is complete!  If any one of these steps fails, contact Tracy at 563-500-6466 to see what went wrong.

    Waiver of Liability

    I acknowledge that events sponsored by The Mississippi Walleye Club may involve activities that carry potential risks. I am aware of all the risks associated with participating in such events, which include, but are not limited to, personal injury, weather-related hazards, and damage to equipment.

    I recognize that The Mississippi Walleye Club and its affiliate, The Walleye Federation, have limited liability insurance for their sponsored events. However, this insurance does not cover me, my belongings, or my actions during these events. I accept that my boat and/or personal insurance is sufficient for participating in Club-sponsored events.

    I, as the boat captain, accept the responsibility of all the occupants of my boat and their actions and they too are bound to this Waiver of Liability.

    Having read this waiver and understood its contents, I, on behalf of myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release The Mississippi Walleye Club, its directors, officers, members, property owners, boat owners, boat operators, sponsors, and their representatives and successors from all claims, demands, or actions of any kind for any loss, damage, or injury I may incur or cause while participating in these events.
