The MWC competed with 11 boats in Dubuque this past weekend. After a slow week of pre-fishing reports the bite started to pick up. Sunday was a good day and many, many fish were caught. This was a weigh tournament so the fish had to be legal size so that keeps the bag size down. The big winners of the day were Harry Miller and Wayne Millman with 5 fish and 10.39 lbs. Second went to Brian Houselog and Lance Kirby with 5 fish and 8.29 lbs. Big fish of the day went to Steve Siepp and Tracy Adams at 3.29 lbs. In all, twenty three fish came to the scale weighed and released with 100% alive. Many more “slots” and “shorts” were caught and released on the water.
