Another great day of fishing. This month the MWC was in Bellevue and launched 13 boats. Almost half the boats caught their limit of 5. Honors today went to the team of Wayne Millman Jr and Wayne Millman Sr with a weight of 32.06. Second was another father son duo, Rick and Ethan Small, with a bag of 22.63. Big fish honors went to Harry Miller and Steve Siepp with a 27 1/2 beauty. The stage is set for the Solo Championship coming up in Dubuque in October. Wayne Millman Jr currently holds the lead and can clinch the title with a finish in the top 3. Mathematically Wayne can be beat by five others; Matt Oliver, Darin Shulista, Harry Miller, Tim Fiedler or BJ Eiben. It ain’t over till its over. The field is probably going to be the biggest launch in MWC history so it should make for a very interesting day and certainly the bragging rights of winning the Solo have to be up there!
