The MWC competed with 18 boats launching from Massey this past weekend. The dog days of summer slowed the bite but still produced good numbers overall. The father/son teams dominated with Matt and Logon Oliver catching 5 fish and 27.91 lbs. Jerry and BJ Eiben took second at 21.06 lbs. Rounding out the side pot was Darin Shulista and Jamey Streif at 18.48 lbs. The big fish was caught by the Grandfather/grandson team of Harry Miller and Max Jackson at 27 1/4″. In all, forty seven fish were entered with an average weight of 3.94 lbs!
Our annual picnic followed and a great time was had by all. A huge thank you to the Rob and Sara Dimmer and all their helpers!
Next event will be Kids’ Day in August and our next tournament is Bellevue in September.
