As you know today was a nasty April day with a flood stage river, a 30 degree swing in temperature and snow falling on those that braved the elements today. I won’t sugar coat it anymore than that, it was cold out there today. Regardless, 7 teams took to the water and showed grit in what we pursue. The team of Rob Dimmer and Sam Willett found four fish in the “keeper” category to a total of 7.37 lbs for the win. Tracy Adams and Steve Siepp found one keeper fish but it was a dandy. a 27″ post spawn girl weighing in at 6.74 lbs for second and big fish. Forever our bridesmaid, BJ Eiben and partner Tom Tremble had one keeper and third place, All did catch fish today, but the two other teams that found weight were Tim Fiedler Dave Achbrenner and Jerry Eiben Troy Tiggs.
Thanks all for making this event, I am sure the weather will be nicer for the next one in May but I am not sure about the river level itself!
