Kid's Day
Give a kid the thrill of a lifetime! The 2026 Kids’ Day fishing tournament is set fo Saturday, August 15th! Kids ages 9-12 will experience the excitement of competitive fishing, just like the pros. Paired with experienced boat captains, they’ll cast their lines and reel in non-game fish, then weigh their catches and see their names up in lights on the scoreboard! Every child goes home with a prize, and we’ll have plenty of food and refreshments for everyone. This incredible event is completely FREE! Fishing from 7:00 am to 11:30 am, followed by the weigh-in, awards, and food. Don’t miss out – space is limited to 100 kids! Check out the video and photo gallery below! Kid's Day Application
Please have your online form submitted by July 12th, 2026, this allows us time to align everything prior to the event. This event fills every year so get your application submitted early. Our selection process is limited to 100 kids and preference will be given to 12-year-olds and first-time attendees. We reserve the right to close registration early based on the entries received.
Please read the Waiver of Liability – Kids Day as this is required to complete the online application.
Boat Driver Signup
Please complete your online form submitted by July 12th, 2026, this allows us time to align everything prior to the event. The form will ask for your Helper’s name and phone number so if you have this handy the process flows easily. Also we ask for your shirt size. To support he number of Kids we need 50 boat drivers and before we can commit to the kids we need to be sure we have the drivers so please signup early!
Donations are a big part of funding this event. The Mississippi Walleye Club is a regestered 501(c)(3) chartable organization so any donation is tax deductable. Completing the online form is fast and easy! Clink on the “Donate to Sponsor a Child” button below or feel free to save the poster to your computer and mail it in to the stated address.
