The preliminary results are in! The mighty Mississippi walleyes gave us some nice fish today. Multiple limits in the weight, multiple limits in the photo, and multiple overs.
We all love big fish, and today’s big fish was caught by Matt Osweiler / Steve Seipp at 7.86 lbs. The other two overs came in from Jerry Eiben / Mark Schmidt at 7.50 lb and Tracy Adams / Steve Jeffer at 7.39 lbs.
For the photo side pot, Brian Houselog / Adam Yerington put up a very impressive 19.91 3 fish card to win. Tracy Adams / Steve Jeffer piled up a bunch of slots on their card to come up with 18.31 for photo fish. The others with full photo cards were Jerry Eiben / Mark Schmidt and Sam Willett / Craig Soppe.
For the Angler of the Year points, the weigh tournament produced 4 full cards; Tracy Adams / Steve Jeffer topped the scale with 16.65 Lbs. Second was Matt Osweiler / Steve Seipp close behind at 16.13. The two other teams with 5 fish limits were Mark Alexander / Justin Willett and Rob Lenstra / Nicole Sewejkis.
Yay! Every team registered a scoreable fish today. Boo: a moment of silence, please….RIP to another lower unit who fell victim to the grim reaper known as the “lower unit” damn.
